9649195-19063 Job Description Bring your expertise as a school-based Social Worker to a dynamic, onsite environment supporting students success. Two full-time contract positions are availableone at the middle school level and one at the elementary level. Youll work closely with students, families, and staff to foster a positive educational experience within an engaging school community. The opportunity begins as soon as possible and runs through June 10, 2027, with consistent weekday hours from 8:30 AM4:00 PM.

What youll bring:

Active MSW license in Pennsylvania required Experience working in school-based settings Familiarity with an urban educational environment Must hold either a valid, active PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate; OR be an

LSW/LCSW

enrolled in a PDE-approved social worker program Ability to obtain/complete Pennsylvania clearances Comfort conducting a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process Strong communication, advocacy, and crisis intervention skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies for student success Conduct assessments and maintain records in line with school and district requirements Lead and participate in intervention and prevention programs Serve as a resource for crisis response and counseling Promote an inclusive and supportive school culture Step into a meaningful role where your compassion and skills can create real change for students.
