School Year Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will support students social, emotional, and behavioral well-being while collaborating with educators, families, and community resources to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans aligned with student needs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement strategies that enhance student success Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community agencies Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution efforts Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student support plans Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical standards Promote attendance, engagement, and overall student well-being

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required Hold a valid, active PA School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or related setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
