The Team You Will Join You'll be part of the Assessment team, working closely with the AZELLA Coordinator, Assessment Manager, ELD department, families and students. This team is responsible for administering the Arizona English Language Learner Assessment (AZELLA). This role is important in ensuring that every student has equitable access to assessments. This work is essential to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant assessment administration that supports student achievement and the school's accountability goals. The team culture is collaborative, supportive, fast-paced, mission-driven, compliance-focused, and you'll have opportunities to learn, grow, influence, improve systems, support students, strengthen operations, and improve systems while partnering across Primavera Online School. The Difference You Will Make In this role, your work will directly impact students and families as well as supporting school operations and compliance outcomes by ensuring the school delivers secure, equitable and compliant assessments throughout the state. You'll help support learners, ensure compliance, and enhance the student experience by creating a smooth, secure, and professional testing environment, contributing to Primavera's mission in a meaningful and visible way. A Typical Day Looks Like While no two days are exactly the same, you can expect to: Administer AZELLA testing in secure small-group environments while ensuring strict adherence to state testing protocols Travel to testing locations across Arizona and coordinate logistics including site setup, scheduling, and materials management Manage student data, testing assignments, and documentation using internal systems and testing platforms such as Powerschool, Google, Test Delivery system approved by ADE Collaborate with families, students, and internal teams to coordinate testing, verify student information, and support accommodations Troubleshoot testing issues and ensure a smooth, compliant testing experience from start to finish This position requires availability to work core business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time, Monday through Friday This role balances independent work, structure, and problem-solving and is well-suited for someone who enjoys supporting students, managing details, and working with purpose in a dynamic, travel-based environment. Your Expertise Includes We're looking for someone who brings: Has assessment compliance and regulatory knowledge Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage logistics, schedules, and multiple priorities independently Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and internal teams High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in testing procedures and documentation Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and composure in a variety of environments Experience working with technology platforms and tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, student information systems, assessment platforms, and confidential student records Ability to obtain and maintain all required ADE assessment certifications including AZELLA Testing Coordinator and Test Administrator certification Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card Bonus points if you also have: Associate's degree in Education, Educational Administration, Business Administration or a related field, Equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered Bilingual Spanish skills and experience supporting diverse student populations Prior AZELLA experience Our Commitment to Inclusion & Belonging At Primavera Online School, we serve a richly diverse student population—and we believe our team should reflect that same diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences.
