We partner with schools, daycares, healthcare providers, and families to ensure children receive the support they need as early as possible, when it matters most. Early Intervention Services | Special Education Support | ABA, Speech, OT| Serving New York Schools, Daycares & Families We are currently licensed in the State of New York and are preparing to deploy services across all boroughs within the New York City area, with the ability to support children in schools, homes, and daycare settings. Position Summary The Service Coordinator provides administrative, educational, and operational support to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the Program and Education Division. This position works collaboratively with the Program Director, Agency Leadership, Service Coordinator, related-service providers, families, school districts, government agencies, transportation providers, and community partners. The role supports curriculum implementation, compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), coordination of related services, child enrollment and attendance, staff communication, record maintenance, program scheduling, and day-to-day administrative operations. The position also helps maintain a safe, productive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment that supports the individualized educational and developmental needs of each child. Essential Responsibilities As a Service Coordinator, you become an important point of contact for families participating in the New York State, Early Intervention Program and Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) . You'll help families understand their rights, navigate the Early Intervention process, access appropriate services, and coordinate the professionals involved in supporting their child's development.

Responsibilities Include:

Guide families through the Early Intervention process Help families understand their rights and available services Participate in the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Coordinate and monitor authorized Early Intervention services Communicate with families, providers, evaluators, and Early Intervention personnel Monitor case progress and service delivery Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant Service Coordination documentation Manage assigned cases, deadlines, and required follow-up Participate in IFSP meetings, supervision, training, and team meetings Follow NYS Early Intervention requirements and Bright Start's policies Support families through remote, home, and community-based activities as required Experienced Early Intervention and CPSE Service Coordinators who are looking for a supportive agency, flexibility, and an opportunity to grow their caseload. Minimum Qualifications Education in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Human Services , or a related Health and Human Service Field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to independently manage responsibilities and deadlines Ability to manage a multi-family caseload Comfortable communicating with families and professionals Willingness to meet families in their homes and/or community when required Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment Dedicated home workspace Computer or laptop Reliable internet and telephone access Programmatic experience in a special education setting. Knowledge of New York State and local education regulations, IEP requirements, CPSE/CSE processes, and related services. At least one year of administrative or office-support experience, preferably in an educational, nonprofit, healthcare, or human-services setting. Experience working with children with autism is highly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Ability to draft, translate, and accurately review correspondence and documentation in both languages. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel; familiarity with Dragon is preferred. Excellent organizational, time-management, recordkeeping, and multitasking skills. Ability to work effectively with childs, families, staff, school district administrators, service providers, and external partners. Demonstrated judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive, confidential, or stressful situations. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent required for the administrative-support component of the role; advanced education and certifications are required for the Assistant Principal responsibilities. Pay:

$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
