School Director Job Summary:
The Education Coordinator oversees curriculum implementation, teacher support, and classroom quality at Primrose. This role ensures compliance with educational standards, provides coaching, and fosters a positive learning environment. This role will serve on the Leadership Team for the school and will perform executive duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily:
Model professionalism and service principles. Support and communicate the Primrose Balanced Learning Approach. Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback. Ensure schedules, policies, and procedures are followed. Review and approve educational content and teacher communications. Monitor education updates and provide teachers with current materials.
Weekly:
Post and verify lesson plans.
Monthly:
Manage curriculum supplies and preparation. Support teacher appreciation and retention efforts. Review student work displays, portfolios, and classroom materials. Maintain organization of educational resources. Lead curriculum training during staff meetings.
Annually:
Assist with teacher evaluations and classroom readiness. Plan Summer Adventure Club and In-Service Day training. Train and assign mentor teachers. Coordinate required staff training, including CPR certification.
As Needed:
Conduct teacher onboarding and ongoing training. Support accreditation and ensure compliance with state and Primrose standards. Assist with teacher planning, behavior support, and classroom management. Oversee technology use and ensure appropriate educational content. Organize parent-teacher conferences and school events. Assist with staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Other Duties:
Plan Teacher Appreciation Week and Spring Fling. Manage social media updates and engagement. Ensure classroom environments meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in education or leadership. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Familiarity with early childhood curriculum and assessment tools. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Work Conditions:
Full-time role with occasional evening or weekend events. Active classroom involvement and interaction with teachers, children, and parents.

$40,000.00 - $45,750.00 per year
