Social Emotional Coach - St. Johnsbury VT Lyndonvile, VT 05851 Apply Overview Salary Range $19.25 - $23.53 Hourly Apply Description Social Emotional Coach We are currently seeking a dedicated CYFS Social and Emotional Coach to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in assessing and understanding needs, setting goals and action plans, and providing support and encouragement to help children and youth develop crucial social and emotional skills, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being and success in various aspects of life. 30 hours per week.

Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities by promoting hope, healing, and support. NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages. NKHS has over 500 employees providing case management, community and home supports, residential care, psychiatry, medication management, therapy, vocational supports, school based counseling, emergency care, and respite services. NEK of Vermont Responsibilities:
Assess Needs, Set Goals Build Self-Awareness and Teach Coping Strategies Enhance Interpersonal Skills and Provide Support Monitor Progress, Adjust, and Document Records Practice Ethical Conduct and Self-care Primarily work will be in an office or community-based setting, interacting with youth/family and coordinating care. Some flexibility in working hours may be required to accommodate youth/family needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, or equivalent Experience working with youth who have emotional and behavioral challenges essential, knowledge of trauma informed care preferred.
SALARY & BENEFITS
$19.25 - $23.53 per hour, depending upon education and experience Education reimbursements and loan repayment program.
