About the Opportunity Sunflower Psychotherapy, LCSW, PLLC is a growing private psychotherapy practice based in Hilton, NY. We are looking to add one or two compassionate, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) who are interested in the flexibility and autonomy of private practice without having to manage all of the administrative responsibilities on their own. This is a flexible independent contractor position. Clinicians may work fully remotely from anywhere in New York State, in person from our Hilton office, or choose a hybrid schedule. Office space is available for clinicians who would like to see clients in person; however, there is no requirement to provide in-person services. Clinicians have the flexibility to manage their own schedules , including choosing the days and times they are available to see clients and determining the caseload that works best for them. Evening and/or weekend availability is especially welcomed due to client demand, but is not required. Referrals will be provided, with the opportunity to gradually build toward approximately 10-20 client sessions per week , depending on clinician preference and referral availability. Clinicians interested in a smaller or larger caseload will also be considered. Areas of Particular Interest We welcome clinicians with a variety of clinical backgrounds and specialties. We are particularly interested in therapists with experience in one or more of the following areas: Children Family therapy Couples therapy Autism/neurodivergence Substance use/addiction Eating disorders Experience in all of these areas is not required. Clinicians who work with children and/or families are particularly encouraged to apply, as the practice regularly receives referrals for these services. The $50-$80/hour range displayed in this posting is an estimated per-session equivalent based on typical insurance reimbursement and is not a guaranteed hourly wage.
