Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments that evaluate clients' mental health, strengths, and challenges. Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that cater to the unique emotional and cultural needs of clients. Utilize evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to facilitate therapeutic interventions. Develop comprehensive treatment plans that clearly define goals, interventions, and progress monitoring in coordination with clients and their support systems. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal treatment outcomes. Offer immediate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and strategic safety planning to support clients facing acute mental health challenges. Advocate for clients' rights and connect them to relevant community resources while providing case management support to empower their recovery journey. Engage in community outreach activities that raise awareness and education regarding mental health issues and services accessible within the community. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to serve a diverse clientele, which may include children, families, and individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program. Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in California. Proficiency in cultural competence, demonstrating an understanding and respect for diverse client backgrounds. Exceptional communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, prior experience in a community mental health setting or similar environments will be highly valued.
