Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Document clinical notes accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Facilitate specialized therapies including child & youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management programs tailored for pediatric and geriatric populations. Engage in research activities and data collection to support continuous improvement of clinical practices and outcomes. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Therapist or registration as an Associate Therapist with relevant state licensing boards. Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, mental health assessments, and treatment planning across diverse settings such as outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities. Strong knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical terminology for accurate documentation and billing purposes. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, EMR/EHR systems, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly preferred. Competency in crisis intervention techniques, trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, and behavior management strategies.
