Friday-Tuesday; Friday, Monday and Tuesday 1pm-930pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-630pm Overview Join our dedicated team as an Addiction Counselor (RADT/CADC), where you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their recovery journey. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, evidence-based addiction counseling and mental health support. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate group, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise will help empower clients to achieve lasting recovery and improve their overall well-being. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, withdrawal scales, and ongoing mental stability. Perform observed self-administration of medications ordered. Maintain Milieu withing the facility. Implement individualized treatment plans utilizing behavioral health techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy. Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery, mental health, and family dynamics. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support to clients experiencing acute distress or relapse episodes. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including group notes, case management notes, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers, therapists, and community resources to coordinate home and community care services. Experience Proven experience in addiction counseling within behavioral health or mental health settings. Excellent communication skills for engaging patients in motivational interviewing, family counseling, and group therapy sessions.
