Located in scenic Altoona, Florida, less than an hour north of Orlando, Harmony Hills Behavioral Health provides comprehensive residential treatment for adults living with primary mental health disorders. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with clients in a dynamic treatment environment while utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support recovery, emotional wellness, and personal growth. Essential Responsibilities Facilitate daily therapeutic and psychoeducational group sessions Develop and implement engaging group curricula and activities Foster participation, safety, and therapeutic engagement among clients Document group participation and client progress in a timely manner Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and psychiatrists Assist in maintaining a positive, recovery-oriented treatment environment Provide support during therapeutic activities and treatment programming Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical consultations Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed care practices Qualifications Required Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family or a related behavioral health field (MSW, MA, or MS) Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, or related clinical settings Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively lead and engage groups of diverse individuals Ability to work on-site in Altoona, Florida Preferred Florida license or license-eligible status (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)/Registered Interns accepted Prior experience facilitating clinical or psychoeducational groups Experience in residential, inpatient, or behavioral health treatment settings Knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented treatment approaches Schedule Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM 10-hour shifts Full-Time Some holiday coverage required About Harmony Hills Behavioral Health Harmony Hills Behavioral Health is a residential mental health treatment facility dedicated to helping adults achieve lasting recovery and improved quality of life.
