Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Batterers Intervention Group Facilitator to lead and support groups aimed at promoting accountability, behavioral change, and healthy relationship skills among individuals involved in domestic violence intervention programs. Responsibilities Lead dynamic group sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy to promote behavioral change. Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing client evaluations using clinical documentation standards, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and mental health assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in behavioral health. Manage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention techniques, ensuring safety and appropriate referrals when necessary. Maintain accurate medical records, clinical documentation, and progress notes in EMR/EHR systems while adhering to confidentiality standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, mental health counselors, and medical professionals to coordinate client care. Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavior management, anger management, gender issues counseling, and child & family counseling as needed. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, must be credentialed with the Missouri Credentialing Board, Proven experience working with individuals involved in domestic violence intervention programs or similar settings. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and grief counseling. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), clinical documentation standards, treatment planning, and case management protocols. Experience working with diverse populations including children, youth, individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders, and those experiencing trauma or PTSD. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients through motivational interviewing and client-centered approaches. Ability to manage crises effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor; experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is advantageous. Knowledge of telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering services via telehealth is preferred.
