Job Description

Unity Place of Atlantic County is an established Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Outpatient program that has worked with thousands of clients over its multi-year history. Based in Atlantic County, our dedicated team of caring professionals have established a reputation of clinical excellence in Atlantic, Gloucester, Burlington, Salem and Camden counties. Our services consist of on-site, face-to-face services that include psycho-educational groups, 1:1 counseling and Case Management. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM at our Hammonton, NJ facility. The Counselor/Case Manager position will have the following job responsibilities: Caseload of approximately 15 - 18 clients Psycho-educational Group Facilitation 1:1 Counseling Sessions Engage with clients about their treatment goals and ensure their overall wellbeing and stability Creating and updating comprehensive individualized treatment plans Weekly notes on progress toward treatment plan goals Documentation of all groups and other required documentation in our electronic health record system
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree Psychology or Social Services, or, an Associates Degree with a minimum of 2-years experience, or, a CADC or other Licensure Positive Attitude, Team player, Professional, Friendly Efficient oral and written communication and decision making skills Time management skills, organized, creative, flexible Basic computer literacy Our programs utilize a blend of Evidence Based Practices that include CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing, combined with other program components such as Coping Skills, Relapse Prevention, SUD Awareness, NA/AA support and Health and Fitness. We are also expanding into new treatment venues and the use of other forward-thinking treatment venues. We are looking for candidates who will join our dedicated team of professionals and provide our clients with the services needed to help them reach their goals. Clinical supervision provided by Licensed professionals Compensation will be determined by level of education, years of experience and any clinical licenses the candidate may have.
