Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Independently Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to client needs. Provide specialized child, youth, and family counseling, including behavior management, grief counseling, and social work support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and trauma-informed care to ensure client safety and stabilization. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, clinical documentation standards, and medical records protocols using EMR/EHR systems. Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health education, social skills development, or support for co-occurring disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and patient care coordination to optimize outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings. Qualifications Must hold an active independent license in mental health (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) with 3 years of experience in clinical counseling. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy (TFT), Motivational Interviewing and other theories as appropriate Experience working with children, adolescents, adults. Strong skills in trauma, crisis intervention, crisis management, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and grief counseling. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, CPT coding for billing purposes. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing telehealth therapy sessions is desirable. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams in outpatient or inpatient environments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on client-centered care and cultural competence; experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
