Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Pre-Licensed (employee) or Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (employee or independent contractor) to join our team in Chisago City. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families. Responsibilities Provide outpatient mental health therapy to children, adolescents, and families. Conduct diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and discharge plans, maintaining thorough documentation as required by state law and clinic policy. Exercise sound clinical judgment in both routine and crisis situations, should they arise. Adhere to clinic and professional ethical principles and guidelines, relevant state and federal statutes and regulations, and HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling; or are currently in a graduate program or recently graduated in one of these disciplines and have the intention of pursuing licensure. A commitment to ongoing professional development, including compliance with continuing education and consultation requirements. A willingness to see at least 10 clients a week, if employed as a part-time employee. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer competency and willingness to learn programs and technology used by Family Based Therapy Associates.
