In person About the Role We are looking for a Mental Health Outreach Specialist (QMHP Eligible) to provide community-based support to youth and families in the El Paso area. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with youth who may have mental health or behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities Provide counseling, crisis support, and case management to youth and families. Help clients develop coping, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Develop and follow individualized service plans. Monitor client progress and maintain accurate documentation. Complete progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries. Coordinate services with schools, CPS, probation, case managers, LMHPs, and community providers. Attend meetings, court hearings, IEP meetings, evaluations, and other appointments as needed. Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, trainings, and staff activities. Represent the organization at community events and outreach activities. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet at least one of the following: Physician. Master's degree in Psychology or a related human-services field with at least 1 year of clinical experience. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work with at least 1 year of clinical experience working with youth. Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience with children or adolescents. Bachelor's degree in a human-services field such as Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Special Education, or a related field, with at least 1 year of clinical experience. Clinical experience may include supervised internships, practicums, field experience, or direct work with youth with mental health or behavioral diagnoses. Skills & Qualifications Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to work with children, adolescents, and families. Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills. Knowledge of child and adolescent development. Familiarity with behavioral management techniques. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Professional written and verbal communication. Requirements Criminal background check. CPS registry and child abuse/neglect check. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Completion of required behavior management and crisis intervention training. Schedule Full-time and Part-time positions available.
