What You'll Do as an Outpatient Therapist Provide individual and group therapy for men participating in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and General Outpatient (GOP) substance use treatment programs. Complete clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress throughout treatment. Utilize evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention strategies. Support clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns through integrated treatment approaches. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with treatment team members, community partners, drug courts, probation, and other referral sources to coordinate client care. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives. Provide crisis intervention and support clients in building the skills needed for long-term recovery and wellness. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy. Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting). Experience working with substance use disorders preferred. Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy. Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team. Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards. Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
