Job Description

Only Local candidates are eligible to apply, there are no virtual only positions. Our clinicians must be able to drive to sessions at the schools, the clients home, or to use the local office to conduct sessions. Clinicians can schedule clients according to their availability. Flexible schedule, minimum caseload of 15 session hours weekly.
  • The Sterling Center is a community based, non-profit agency that specializes in child welfare using trauma informed and family systems approaches.
Our agency comes from humble beginnings; starting with only a few clinicians in Fort Myers, today we receive referrals from all over the gulf coast, central and northeast, FL. Our agency founder, Dr. Sterling, is passionate about the work that is being done in the community. Our clients know that The Sterling Center clinicians are a partner and advocate for their families. We work collaboratively with families on goal setting and making lasting changes to improve their quality of life and wellbeing. Here at The Sterling Center, we are equally passionate about creating a supportive and encouraging culture for our clinicians. This is an agency that helps you to reach your goals as a clinician and independent contractor. What can you expect from us? That we will help you establish a solid clientele based on your choice of geographical areas you would like to serve. Full time clinicians qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program. The admin team takes care of billing and intake/scheduling your first session. Supervision to become licensed offered at no cost for full time clinicians.
What we are looking for:
  • . Must hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work.
  • Local candidates only.
  • Clinical supervision towards licensure provided for clinicians conducting 20 + sessions weekly.
