A warm, professional, and appreciative family in Tempe is looking for an energetic, and experienced Nanny/Household Assistant to join their family long term! The ideal candidate will enjoy caring for a young child while also helping keep the household organized and running smoothly. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, and wants to become a trusted and valued part of a family. The family has had wonderful relationships with previous nannies and truly values the person who becomes part of their child's life. They are looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, positive, organized, and genuinely enjoys being an engaged caregiver and household support. Responsibilities Provide loving, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care Create fun, age-appropriate activities and experiences Prepare child's meals and snacks Pick up child from school and transport to activities Help with laundry, dishes, grocery shopping and organization Tidy and organize child's spaces while the child is at school Help keep household routines organized and running smoothly Maintain open, positive communication with Mom Ideal Candidate 2+ years of professional nanny/household experience Previous experience caring for toddlers Energetic, dependable, organized, and proactive Warm, patient, and positive personality Someone who takes initiative and enjoys being actively involved Open-minded, inclusive, and comfortable working with a family that values diversity and inclusivity Respectful and accepting of diverse family structures and lifestyles Comfortable balancing childcare with light household support Valid driver's license and safe driving record Must be able to pass a drug test and background check Comfortable with the family dog Benefits W-2 employment 30 guaranteed hours per week Overtime paid at time and a half when applicable Up to $27/hour depending on experience 2 weeks of paid vacation Paid sick time Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement for on the job driving Long-term opportunity with a family who truly values their nanny/household assistant If you're a positive, energetic, nurturing, organized, and open-minded professional looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity with a wonderful and appreciative family, we'd love to hear from you!
