One infant boy, born March 2026 Position Overview A warm and communicative first-time family is seeking an experienced Infant Nanny to provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for their baby boy. The family currently lives in North Tempe near ASU and will be relocating to Chandler in October 2026. Candidates must be comfortable commuting to North Tempe initially and continuing with the family in Chandler after the move. This is a true baby-focused nanny position with very limited household responsibilities. The nanny's primary focus will be caring for, engaging with, and supporting the development of one infant. The family is seeking someone who genuinely loves the baby stage, has strong hands-on infant experience, and is confident taking ownership of an infant's daily routine while working collaboratively with involved parents. Schedule Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. 32 guaranteed hours per week The family may have approximately 30 minutes of flexibility with the daily start or end time for the right candidate. Occasional Friday hours may be offered when additional coverage is needed. Friday hours would always be discussed in advance and are completely optional. He is currently rolling in both directions and working on early developmental milestones including tummy time, floor play, grasping, and increased interaction with his environment.

He is almost exclusively breastfed, and the family is beginning to introduce solids. He currently has no known allergies, reflux, or feeding concerns. Nanny Responsibilities The nanny's day will revolve around providing loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care.
Responsibilities include:
Providing safe, nurturing, and engaged infant care Floor time and tummy time Sensory and developmental play Reading, singing, talking, and music Supporting age-appropriate developmental milestones Following and responding to the baby's individual hunger and sleep cues Communicating with Mom when the baby is ready to nurse Supporting healthy sleep routines Providing contact naps as needed Gently working toward crib naps Assisting with solids and feeding cleanup as they are introduced Tracking feeds, naps, and diapers using the Huckleberry app Washing and sanitizing bottles and pump parts Keeping the nursery and baby play areas tidy Putting away toys and baby-related items Light cleanup after feedings The parents will prepare the baby's food. There is no family laundry, household cleaning, cooking, errands, or general household work required. In-Home Care & Future Outings This position will be primarily in-home initially . As first-time parents, Mom and Dad would like time to build trust before the baby begins leaving the home independently with the nanny. As the relationship develops and their son gets older, they anticipate gradually adding: Stroller walks Neighborhood outings Age-appropriate activities outside of the home The family is looking for someone who understands and respects this initial trust-building period. If outings become part of the position, the nanny will use their own reliable vehicle. The family will provide an appropriate car seat and reimburse work-related mileage. Work-From-Home Parents Mom works fully remotely from a home office near the nursery. She is typically on calls for approximately two hours per day and remains focused on work during nanny hours. She may occasionally join during a natural break to nurse, read a story, or spend a few minutes with the baby while respecting the nanny's role and routine. Dad works a hybrid schedule and is typically in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The ideal nanny will be comfortable working with parents in the home while still confidently taking the lead with the baby.
