About Us KidsPark Brandon is a safe, fun, pay-as-you-play childcare center for children ages 2-12. We offer flexible, hourly care during the day, evenings, and weekends—with no reservations required . More than just daycare, KidsPark provides engaging experiences for every age, including STEAM-based preschool, enrichment activities, after-school and back-up care. For more than 30 years, KidsPark centers nationwide have delivered the flexible childcare solution families want and need—giving parents peace of mind and kids a place they love. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Childcare Center Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant early childhood education facility opening soon in Brandon ! Your leadership will ensure the center runs smoothly, complies with all licensing standards, and provides an enriching experience for children, families, and staff alike. Key Responsibilities Provide visionary leadership to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families Recruit, develop and supervise a team of 8-12 teachers through training, feedback, and performance evaluations Oversee preschool and school-age programs, ensuring developmentally appropriate, play-based, child-directed learning Manage daily center operations, including enrollment, staffing schedules, inventory, budgeting, and record-keeping Ensure compliance with all DCF and state licensing, health, and safety regulations Monitor and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and community engagement Maintain the high quality of the center through hands-on supervision of daily operations Interpersonal communication skills that demonstrate warmth and empathy for adults and children Requirements KidsPark is a State Licensed Facility. As such, the Directors must meet the current requirements as stated by Florida Department of Children and Families. Possess degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA Possess Director Credential Minimum 2 years childcare experience Demonstrated leadership roles In addition, KidsPark requires the following: KidsPark is the primary employer Work 30-40 hours a week, including at least 1 weekend shift Maintain current certification in first aid and CPR Minimum of 25 hours on the floor each week Effective communication with adults and children in written and verbal formats Guide, supervise, and lead others in a positive manner Plan, implement, create and share innovative activities Be accessible to your center by phone
