We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop. You will coordinate daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster strong relationships with families and staff. Duties Manage the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a smooth and efficient environment for children and staff Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on childhood development and early learning standards Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance on classroom management, child supervision, behavior management, and instructional strategies Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations, mandated reporting laws, health and safety protocols including first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and emergency procedures Foster open communication with parents through regular updates, conferences, and addressing concerns promptly Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development in areas such as special education and working with children with disabilities Ensure the safety of children by conducting regular safety audits, supervising classroom activities including infant care and toddler care, and managing classroom resources effectively Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management techniques Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs Strong leadership skills to motivate staff and create a collaborative team environment Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with parents, staff, and community partners Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social-emotional growth Certification in first aid, CPR Experience in daycare center operations or preschool teaching roles is preferred to ensure comprehensive understanding of childcare best practices

This is a 1099 job opportunity Weekly pay (Pay is negotiable) Must have all trainings and certifications required to be considered for an interview as we are urgently hiring. 45-hour Director-Administration course Complete a 3-semester-hour administrative course, 9 clock hours in communication, 3 clock hours in ADA compliance, and basic health/safety training. Must complete 6 semester/90 clock hours of approved training, a CDA credential, or early childhood certification. Require a high school diploma/equivalence, generally require college credits, an associate degree, or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
