Do:

Play, laugh, create, explore, and learn alongside children Help children feel safe, loved, and supported Participate in art projects, games, outdoor play, music, and hands-on activities Build meaningful relationships with children and families Work alongside an experienced and supportive teaching team Gain valuable experience working with children —especially great experience for students interested in education, child development, psychology, sociology, or other helping professions Assist in helping us maintain a clean and safe environment We're Looking for

Someone Who:

Loves kids and genuinely enjoys being around them Is energetic, positive, patient, and dependable Isn't afraid to get silly and have fun! Will actively engage with children rather than simply supervise from the sidelines Is willing to get on the floor, play, participate, and get involved Works well as part of a team Wants a job where they can make a positive impact every day Is willing to help with daily tasks that help keep our center on track (like cleaning and restocking classroom supplies). Students - This Could Be Great Experience for You! Previous experience with children is preferred, but we're happy to consider motivated applicants who are eager to learn. Taking college courses in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field? We'd love to hear from you! Post-secondary coursework is a plus, and please include your college transcripts with your application for highest consideration.

A Few Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years old Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Must be comfortable getting up and down from the floor and spending time playing with children at their level Must be able to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities Hours may vary occasionally based on the needs of the center Must have availability either 7:30 am - 9:00 am or 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm Come Make a Difference With Us!
