Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for a 18 month old. We are looking to fill 30+ hours during the work week. Days and hours are flexible and can be altered to fit the right applicant. Hours can also be divided between multiple applicants if needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging with children. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and diaper changes. Provide emotional support and guidance to children, fostering their social skills and independence. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. Administer first aid when necessary and manage any minor injuries or illnesses. Requirements Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with infant care practices is essential. Ability to create educational activities that stimulate children's growth. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both children and parents. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the family's needs.
