About us We're a family with two wonderful one-year-old boys looking for a warm, experienced nanny to join our home. We're especially interested in candidates with a preschool or early childhood education background — someone who sees this role as more than daily care, and brings real early-learning knowledge to how our boys spend their days. Responsibilities Provide attentive childcare to two one-year old twin boys. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suitable for children's dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking. Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, diapering, and nap schedules. Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate teaching to foster development. Maintain a clean and organized environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning up after children and light laundry. Ensure safety by adhering to first aid and CPR protocols; respond promptly to emergencies or incidents. Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children's progress, health, and activities. Skills Proven experience working with children across various age groups, especially infants and toddlers. Strong background in childcare, nannying, or private home childcare experience. Knowledge of preschool activities, daycare practices, and early childhood education techniques. Designing and leading simple, age-appropriate activities: sensory play, music and movement, reading/story time, motor-skill development Creating a light daily routine similar to a preschool structure (circle time, free play, outdoor time) so the boys build familiarity with structure ahead of actual preschool Introducing basic concepts through play: colors, shapes, animal sounds, simple words/signs Encouraging social skills between the twins (sharing, turn-taking, parallel play) Tracking developmental milestones and flagging any concerns to us Ability to handle multiple children simultaneously with patience and professionalism. Competence in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional requirements. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional caregiving certifications are a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with parents and team members. Non-smoker Legally authorized to work in the U.S. [
