Respite Caregiver Needed - As-Needed Position We are looking for a caring, dependable respite caregiver to provide in-home support for a young boy on the autism spectrum. This is an as-needed respite position , with scheduling based on the family's needs and caregiver availability.

About the role:

Provide supervision and companionship in the family's home Assist with minor care needs as needed Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment Encourage independence while being available when support is needed Engage in age-appropriate activities and provide a positive, supportive presence He is a fairly independent young boy who is able to take care of most of his own needs. This position is primarily about supervision, companionship, and providing his parents with some much-needed respite . The ideal caregiver is patient, responsible, kind, and comfortable working with children on the autism spectrum. Previous experience with autism or special needs is helpful but not necessarily required.

Pay:

$16.80 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 10.0 per week
