A Religious Leader or Professional leads religious services and provides spiritual guidance or counseling. Presents knowledge and interpretation of theological texts. May work in a non-denominational setting like a prison or hospital, or work for specific faith-based congregation or denomination and follow the practices of that faith.
Christ s Church of Ocala is a growing, multi-generational faith community pursuing God s mission of sharing the gospel. Located in beautiful and affordable Ocala, FL, about an hour to Orlando, Tampa, or the beaches, our church has experienced rapid growth over the last year. As an Independent Christian Church affiliated with the Restoration Movement, we are looking for a Family Pastor who will lead and build a thriving ministry for middle and high school students while serving as an Associate Pastor on our ministry team. We're looking for a leader who is energized by creating, developing, and reaching students and families with the Gospel. Additionally, this role will provide leadership and guidance for equipping adults through program oversight and guidance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Student Ministry Leadership (Primary Focus) Build and lead a vibrant ministry for middle and high school students. Recruit, train, and shepherd volunteer leaders. Teach God's Word in engaging, biblically faithful ways. Plan camps, retreats, mission trips, outreach events, and student gatherings. Develop a discipleship strategy that helps students become lifelong followers of Jesus. Partner with parents as they disciple their children. Associate Pastor Responsibilities Support the overall mission and vision of Christ s Church. Cultivate intergenerational discipleship among regular attendees. Preach occasionally during scheduled services. Provide pastoral care through hospital visitation, counseling, and shepherding. Support a welcoming culture by contacting recent visitors. Assist with baptisms, weddings, funerals, and other pastoral ministries.

QUALIFICATIONS A
growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Minimum of three years of experience leading student ministry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Alignment with the beliefs and mission of Christ s Church. Bachelor's degree in Bible, Ministry, or a related field preferred.
COMPENSATION
Salary is competitive and based on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive compensation package will be discussed during the interview process.
