Job Description

The parish is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Catholic Youth Minister. This position primarily focuses on high school youth but will have components of middle school and post-high school involved. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves Jesus Christ, is committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church and has a heart for accompanying young people as they deepen their relationship with God.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and leading engaging youth ministry programs. Organizing retreats, service opportunities, and faith formation events. Building meaningful relationships with teens and their families. Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer leaders. Collaborating with parish staff and clergy to foster a vibrant parish community. Encouraging participation in the sacraments, prayer, and the life of the Church.
Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Strong communication and leadership skills. Experience working with youth in a parish, school, or ministry setting is preferred. Bachelor's degree in theology, education or social services. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as ministry activities require.
