The Youth Director will guide students toward a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ through discipleship, worship, service, evangelism, and spiritual formation while encouraging active participation in the life and ministry of the church. The Youth Director is responsible for nurturing the spiritual growth of middle and high school students through regular youth gatherings, Bible studies, retreats, mission opportunities, community outreach, and fellowship activities. The Youth Director will build relationships with students and families, partner with church leadership and volunteers, and engage with local schools and para-church ministries to advance the church's mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading scriptural holiness throughout the world. Primary Responsibilities Organize and oversee all regular youth ministry activities, including weekly gatherings, special events, retreats, camps, and mission trips. Plan and lead weekly youth group meetings, twice a week. Recruit, train, and supervise adult volunteers who assist with youth ministry. Create opportunities for youth to serve and engage the local community through outreach projects, service opportunities, and mission activities. Represent the church at youth-focused community and ministry events, when appropriate. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding ministry activities, schedules, and student development. Assist in integrating youth into the overall mission and ministries of the congregation. Maintain records, calendars, attendance, permission forms, and other ministry documentation. Participate in church staff meetings and collaborate with church leadership on ministry initiatives, as needed. Submit status report and ongoing updates quarterly to SPRC to review at their quarterly meeting. Quarterly meeting with senior pastor and associate pastor of congregational care to discuss church business/needs.

Pay:

$16,000.00 - $18,000.00 per year
