Job Description

Description For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. Location:
We are currently hiring for three (3) positions in the following regions:

•One (1) position covering Rockland, Westchester and Bronx counties

•One (1) position based in

Manhattan Salary:

$65,688.82

•$83,221.82/annually

Qualifications:

One (1) year experience in pastoral/spiritual counseling with issues relating to illness, death, grief and bereavement. Minimum two (2) units of Clinical Pastoral education, credentialed Chaplain or Board Certified Chaplain preferred. Recognition as a Pastoral or Spiritual Counselor. At least one year of hospice experience preferred.

Education:

Baccalaureate Degree required; Masters preferred.

Pay:

$65,688.82
