Job Description

Mortgage Support Coordinator Help customers move confidently from application to closing. Western is seeking a detail-oriented, service-driven Mortgage Support Coordinator to join our mortgage team. In this role, you ll help keep mortgage loans organized, accurate, and moving forward by supporting customers, Mortgage Loan Officers, and internal partners throughout the lending process. You ll play an important part in creating a smooth customer experience-collecting documents, tracking disclosures, updating loan information, coordinating closing details, and following up on open items. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, managing multiple priorities, and making sure the details are handled correctly. What You ll Do Support mortgage files from application through closing. Collect, review, and track customer documents, applications, signatures, disclosures, and fees. Enter and update accurate loan information in mortgage systems and tracking tools. Monitor pipeline activity, deadlines, disclosure timing, and closing dates. Follow up with customers and internal partners on missing or incomplete information. Coordinate closing appointments, documentation, and related details. Serve as a helpful secondary contact when Mortgage Loan Officers are unavailable. Identify documentation gaps, timing concerns, or customer issues and escalate them appropriately. Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready loan files. Participate in team meetings, training, cross-training, and process improvement efforts. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent. At least three years of experience in mortgage lending, real estate, financial services, lending support, or a related administrative operations role. Strong attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple files, deadlines, requests, and follow-up items. Comfort learning and using mortgage systems, spreadsheets, email, work queues, and standard office technology. A positive, team-focused approach and a commitment to excellent customer service. Preferred Experience Associate s degree. Mortgage lending, loan processing, loan documentation, real estate, or customer service experience. Experience tracking disclosures, pipeline deadlines, closing details, fees, or loan documentation. Experience working in a community bank or regulated financial services environment. Work Environment This position is generally performed in a professional office or mortgage operations environment during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
