Job Description
What You'll Do Lead and Inspire:
Interview, hire, train, and supervise a team of 5+ DSPs, ensuring compliance with DDS standards and fostering a positive work environment.Champion Growth:
Oversee individualized programs, monitor progress, and complete monthly reviews to help individuals achieve their goals. Be theConnector:
Act as a liaison between individuals, families, case managers, and healthcare providers—keeping communication strong and collaborative.Ensure Quality & Compliance:
Conduct on-site monitoring visits, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to DDS and agency policies.Support Health & Wellness:
Serve as Health Care Coordinator (or back-up), managing routine and special medical needs per DDS guidelines.Manage Benefits & Finances:
Ensure ongoing eligibility for benefits, report wages, and monitor bill payments.Step In When Needed:
Provide hands-on support, including transportation to work, medical appointments, and community activities.Promote Community Engagement:
Assist individuals in finding volunteer and vocational opportunities to prepare for competitive employment.Stay Ready:
Provide on-call emergency support for individuals and staff. What We're Looking For Experience in human services , social work, or related field Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to multitask and maintain compliance with state and agency regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Passion for helping others live their best lives Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional Supervisor (DSPS) at Central State Community Services of Oklahoma is preferredWhy You'll Love Working Here Impact:
