Job Description

Agency Support Coordinator The Agency Support Coordinator manages the Foodbank's agency shopping program, helping ensure partner agencies have equitable and efficient access to available food and other products. This position provides excellent customer service to agency partners, processes orders and inventory transactions, maintains an organized and welcoming shopping area, and works closely with Agency Services and Operations staff to support product distribution. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, administrative responsibilities, inventory coordination, and warehouse support. Key Responsibilities Welcome agency partners, complete shopper check-in, verify account information, and provide courteous and responsive customer service. Coordinate agency access to the shopping program to promote fair and equitable distribution of available products. Receive and process agency shopping orders using the Foodbank's inventory control system. Maintain and update daily product/shopping lists based on inventory availability. Coordinate with Inventory and Warehouse staff to identify, stock, and promote available products for efficient distribution. Manage online ordering and assist agency partners with the online ordering system. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and appropriately stocked agency shopping area and lobby. Restock donated food and other products during and after agency shopping hours as needed. Complete required order, inventory, invoice, and project documentation accurately and timely. Assist with special distributions, projects, and emergency food assistance as needed. Provide direction and support to volunteers assigned to the shopping area. Work collaboratively with Agency Services, Operations, Warehouse, and Volunteer teams to support Foodbank objectives. Follow applicable food safety, security, organizational, and Feeding America standards. Cross-train and provide support for other departmental and warehouse activities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Foodbank's mission and operations. Our Mission The Agency Support Coordinator is expected to demonstrate a commitment to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank's mission, vision, and values and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on serving our neighbors and community partners. The salary range for this position is $39,760 - $49,650 annually. The actual starting salary will be determined based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and organizational needs. The posted range represents the anticipated compensation range for this position and does not guarantee a specific starting salary.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
