THE POSITION
Perry County Children and Youth Services is seeking a dedicated County Casework Supervisor who wants to make a lasting difference for families. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position guides the daily work of caseworkers who provide a wide range of social services to children and families. It involves oversight of cases, administrative planning, and coordination with agency leadership. As a County Casework Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
Staff Supervision:
Direct caseworkers engaged in providing social services
Case Oversight:
Review and analyze case records to determine the quality of services
Administrative Planning:
Plan and supervise tasks such as assigning cases and managing workflow
Program Coordination:
Manage segments of the social services program, including planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating
Emergency Coverage:
Coordinate emergency on-call coverage and provide back-up support
Community Engagement:
Contact other agencies and represent the program in the community
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
