Boys & Girls Clubs of Dumplin Valley is seeking a passionate and innovative Director of Program Services to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality youth development programs that help young people achieve academic success, healthy lifestyles, strong character, and career readiness. Please note, this job is based in Dandrige, but requires regular, in person work at five different sites located in Jefferson & Cocke Counties. What You'll Do Program Leadership Design, implement, and evaluate youth development programs that support positive youth outcomes. Ensure programs align with Boys & Girls Club standards and evidence-based best practices. Develop and maintain engaging experiences focused on: Academic Success Good Character & Citizenship Health & Wellness Workforce Readiness Support Club staff, interns, and volunteers in delivering high-quality programming. Workforce Development Lead the organization's workforce development initiatives. Build and maintain partnerships with employers, schools, and community organizations. Coordinate youth employment, career exploration, and job readiness opportunities. Serve as a resource for youth participating in workforce development programs. Staff Supervision & Development Supervise, coach, train, and mentor staff, volunteers, and interns. Foster a positive culture focused on continuous learning and youth impact. Support professional development and leadership growth among team members. Grant Management Assist with identifying funding opportunities to support program initiatives. Support grant writing, implementation, compliance, and reporting requirements. Track outcomes and collect data needed for funder reports and organizational evaluation efforts. Strategic Planning Contribute to organizational planning and program innovation. Use data and evaluation results to improve program quality and youth outcomes. Advocate for the needs of youth and families within the organization and throughout the community. Community Engagement & Partnerships Build strong relationships with parents, schools, businesses, and community partners. Represent the organization in the community. Increase awareness and support for Club programs through outreach and public relations efforts. Resource & Budget Management Assist with annual program budget development and oversight. Monitor expenditures and ensure responsible use of resources. Approve purchases of program supplies and equipment as needed. Qualifications Required Associate degree in Education, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of two years of experience working with youth development programs, preferably in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization. Knowledge of positive youth development principles and best practices. Experience supervising staff, volunteers, or interns. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collect, analyze, and report program data. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with community partners. Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience with workforce development or career readiness programming. Experience managing grant-funded programs and reporting outcomes. Knowledge of Boys & Girls Clubs programming and youth outcomes measurement systems. Experience working with budgets and resource management. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for Club events, community activities, and special programs.
Pay:
$45,000.00 per year
