Follow applicable State of Alaska requirements and Home and Community-Based Services expectations applicable to the program. Perform other reasonable program duties necessary to support participants and the daily operation of South Adult Services. Previous experience working with older adults, adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities, adults receiving Home and Community-Based Services, or other individuals requiring daytime support is highly desirable. Relevant life experience and demonstrated ability to successfully organize and lead meaningful group activities may also be considered. Physical and Job Requirements The position requires the ability to remain active throughout the workday, move throughout the facility, prepare activity areas, assist with activities, and occasionally lift or move program supplies and equipment. The employee must be able to respond appropriately to participant needs and emergency situations and complete required training applicable to the position.
