Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Family Support Specialist to join our dedicated team. Duties Collaborate with families to develop tailored support plans that address their unique needs and circumstances Provide crisis intervention and crisis management during emergency situations to ensure safety and stability Assist families in navigating child protective services, child welfare systems, and social services agencies Conduct assessments related to child & family services, including home visits and safety evaluations Offer guidance on childcare practices, conflict management, and working with culturally diverse communities Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools Facilitate communication between clients, service providers, and community organizations to promote coordinated care Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate safety during emergencies Support clients with disabilities by connecting them with appropriate resources and accommodations Advocate for high-risk populations by providing emotional support, conflict resolution, and resource linkage Qualifications Proven experience working with children, families, or in social services settings Knowledge of child protective services, child welfare policies, and child & family services best practices Strong crisis intervention skills combined with effective crisis management techniques Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in child welfare or social work are preferred Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively Experience working with individuals with disabilities or high-risk populations is a plus Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage clients empathetically and clearly Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining confidentiality Demonstrated conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations calmly Join us in making a difference! Pay:

$17.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week
