Job Description

Youth Advocate (Full-Time & Part-Time)
Part-Time Pay:
$18.00-$23.00/hour
Full-Time Pay:
$25.00-$30.00/hour Evergreen Youth & Family Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and energetic Youth Advocates to support runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth ages 9-17 at our youth crisis shelter. We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available . As a Youth Advocate, you will provide mentoring, crisis support, case management, advocacy, and daily supervision for youth in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. This role combines direct client services with teamwork, relationship-building, and residential program support to help youth develop stability, resilience, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to youth in crisis Deliver case management and advocacy services Assist with family engagement and support services Supervise youth and facilitate recreational activities Support daily shelter operations, including meal preparation and housekeeping Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records Collaborate with schools, social services, tribal programs, and community partners
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old Experience working with youth and families preferred Human services education or related experience strongly preferred Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Must successfully pass required background checks and screenings
