Job Description

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate for this role is responsible for overseeing daily operations and service delivery of the NJSNIP program, the Village by the Shore program and liaisons at Shalom House and Margate Terrace. Selected candidate will hold supervisory and direct service responsibilities including the delivery of client-centered services, assessments, service plans and referrals. This role includes direct supervision of per diem, care coordinator & social service liaisons, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with program standards and documentation. The supervisor is responsible for facilitating social engagement groups to enhance connection and reduce social isolation to the older population, while providing administrative oversight, including crisis response, documentation review, and external stakeholder engagement. Position Duties to
Include:
Facilitate social engagement groups in the community as part of a grant funded by Atlantic County Area Agency on Aging. Develop flexible and individualized service guides to meet client needs. Facilitate linkages to a wide range of community social services, ensuring comprehensive care for clients. Provide and supervise the delivery of services, including: Outreach case management and support. Referral and advocacy for essential services based on client needs and goals. Connection to social, spiritual, and other community resources as expressed by the client. Assist clients in developing service plans that align with their goals. Provide or arrange transportation for clients as needed to access services. Offer skills development training tailored to client assessments of progress. Organize and support recreational and socialization activities that enhance client well-being and support their service plan. Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with community partners and collateral agencies. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency values and client-centered care principles Ensure supervisees are providing linkage to essential services, including mental health, housing, and other supports.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Health, Counseling, Psychiatric Rehabilitation or other related fields. One year of supervisory experience in the human services or justice-involved field preferred.
