COMMUNITY SERVICES SPECIALIST - $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Job Description

We are seeking a Community Services Specialist (Scranton Office) to facilitate our Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) program in Luzerne and surrounding Counties. The Advocacy Alliance facilitates teams of consumers of developmental disabilities, family members, and community volunteers who are dedicated to the continuous improvement of the quality of services and supports for persons who receive services.
General Description:
Recruiting, interviewing, screening, training, matching, and monitoring of volunteers for IM4Q and other special projects; Communicating with developmental disabilities and mental health professionals and family members; Scheduling and completing IM4Q surveys; Developing and maintaining working relationships with individuals with developmental disabilities; Assisting in in-services, trainings, and education workshops; Maintaining relationships with referral sources, volunteers, consumers, families, and professionals; Facilitating but not being a voting member of the IM4Q Advisory Committees; and Other duties as assigned.
