Diversity & Inclusion Department Counseling and Human Services JobPurpose:

The University of Scranton Department of Counseling and Human Services invites applications for an in-person, full-time,12-month, non-tenure track Faculty Specialist position starting in August 2027. This position would support teaching across two programswithin our department: Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling. Faculty Specialists carry a teaching load oftwenty-four (24) credit hours annually. Additional Skills Required:

Applicants must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as alicensed professional counselor (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Minimum Education Requirements:

A master'sor doctoral degree in Counseling/Counselor Education from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs(CACREP) accredited program is required.

Ideal applicants will have clinical experience (5 years post master's), aprofessional counselor identity, higher education teaching experience, and clinical supervision experience.
