Help Families Get Support - The Community Resources Facilitator(CRF) is a flexible, part-time, direct support position responsible for delivering training and guidance to families of individuals funded by the regional center to receive CFS services. Support focuses on helping families explore, enroll and maintain eligibility for community resources and public benefits to meet their needs, which supports the individual to remain living in the family home. The CRF also engages families in futures planning to ensure the stability of the health and care needs for their loved one are addressed throughout their lifespan. Support is provided in-person in private family homes, and by other remote means to families throughout Ventura County. Position Requirements Knowledge of available community resources and public benefit programs. A passion for empowering families to help themselves. Bachelor's degree in a related field, plus one year of experience or Associates-Level degree in a Human Services field, plus two years of experience working directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or Without a degree, three years of experience working directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required. Bilingual in English/Spanish ( required ). Has experience working on established service goals, documenting and tracking progress. Experience with Microsoft applications including Word and Excel, and video meeting technology. Must be able to pass all background checks and employment verifications. Maintains reliable transportation, good driving record, current driver's license and auto insurance. Flexible Work Schedule Employees are matched with families and then set their hours together up to the authorized monthly amounts, within company policies. Evenings and weekend hours may be requested by families. The ideal candidate will work with multiple families in their assigned geographic region of the county. Ready to apply?
