Youth Systems Navigator The Hospitality Hub of Memphis Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Housing advocacy Housing case management Establishing local partnerships in a community engagement role At-risk youth mentorship Safety planning Employment support for young adults Mid-level Community resource coordination in health services social work Care planning in social services Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness Client referral services Direct patient care in social services case management Full Job Description The Youth System Navigator will connect unaccompanied and/or pregnant/parenting youth ages 18-24 experiencing homelessness or seeking services to resources and support by educating and guiding them through systems of care based on needs, youth choice, and individualized care plans. The Youth System Navigator will work with a team of four peers to increase the number of youth and young adults prevented from entering, or moving quickly through, the homeless system into safe housing. The Youth Navigator program provides an immediate response for youth experiencing homelessness in Memphis/Shelby County and offers each youth an individualized safety and service plan, mobile case management, and connections to community-based services. The Youth System Navigator will also develop an extensive resources guide of youth serving organizations and will build positive relationships with community partners to increase collaboration and youth access. The Hospitality Hub works to help people exit homelessness. Located in downtown Memphis, the Hub campus is a safe, kind, and respectful environment that serves as a single point of entry to comprehensive support services for those experiencing homelessness. We provide our guests with the stabilizing resources they need, including temporary shelter, assistance acquiring identification, employment opportunities, and referrals to community partners.
