• Part-Time/PRN Grateful Mind Wellness & Behavioral Health Services LLC is seeking a dependable and compassionate Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor for our developing Adult Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program.

Our organization is currently completing the accreditation and Maryland licensure process. This position will begin with limited pre-opening hours, with the opportunity for increased hours following licensure and client enrollment. Responsibilities Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling within the scope of the counselor's Maryland credential. Assist with substance use disorder assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, relapse-prevention planning, and discharge planning as permitted by credential and supervision requirements. Facilitate SUD counseling and psychoeducational groups. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Participate in clinical supervision and case consultation as required. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with

HIPAA, 42 CFR

Part 2, applicable Maryland requirements, CARF standards, and organizational policies. Participate in staff orientation, training, quality improvement, and program development activities. Qualifications Applicants must possess an appropriate Maryland alcohol and drug counseling credential or qualify to practice as an Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) under required supervision. Applicants with the following credentials are encouraged to apply: ADT

• Alcohol and Drug Trainee CSC-AD
• Certified Supervised Counselor-Alcohol and Drug CAC-AD
• Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug LGADC
• Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor LCADC
• Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor Applicants requiring supervision must be willing to practice under the supervision required for their credential.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adults with substance use disorders Individual and/or group counseling experience Familiarity with ASAM criteria Knowledge of treatment planning and clinical documentation CARF experience is helpful but not required Schedule Part-Time/PRN Approximately 5-10 hours per week initially during the pre-opening phase. Hours may increase following licensure and client enrollment. Pay $20.00
