Residential SUD Clinical Therapist Full-Time with Benefits (Salary $60K to $75K) Clinical licensure required (masters level preferred)

Join Our Team:
As a Residential SUD Clinical Therapist you will play a pivotal role in providing support and guidance to individuals maintaining their recovery from substance abuse. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the well-being of individuals and families in our community. The work schedule for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Specifically, this clinical position will be supporting our clients in sober living level of care.
Residential SUD Clinical Therapist Candidate Requirements:
Masters level education and masters level clinical licensure is highly preferred. Valid clinical licensure in the State of Maine is required (see below). Bachelors degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Prior experience in substance abuse counseling is preferred, but a willingness to work in this field with mentorship/training will suffice. Residential level of clinical experience is preferred, but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Licensure Required:
Valid licensure in Maine to practice as a clinical therapist is required. This can be any one of the following, or a mix.
Preferred Licensure:
Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Alternative licensure (fully or conditionally licensed): Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Residential SUD Clinical Therapist Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals seeking substance abuse treatment. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide counseling services to individuals and facilitate group therapy sessions. Address the unique needs and challenges associated with substance abuse recovery. Offer education and preventive services to individuals and groups to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards. Work collaboratively with other counselors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
Pay:
Full-time salary with benefits ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on experience, level of licensure, education, etc.
