• Full-time Residential Substance Use Disorder Program Up to $72,000 + Full Benefits Tuesday-Saturday Schedule | Portland & Westbrook, Maine Maine Recovery Center is seeking an Addiction Counselor / Clinician (LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW) to join our long-term residential substance use disorder treatment program serving adult males in Portland and Westbrook, Maine.

This position is ideal for licensed and certified professionals who are passionate about helping individuals in recovery and want to work within a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual counseling and facilitate group therapy in a residential treatment setting Complete biopsychosocial assessments and clinical evaluations Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation Support clients with relapse prevention, coping skills, recovery planning, and discharge preparation Collaborate with clinical and recovery support staff to ensure quality care and continuity of services

Qualifications:

CADC or LADC certification/licensure in Maine preferred LCPC, LCSW, or conditionally licensed clinicians encouraged to apply Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or residential treatment settings preferred Strong group facilitation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced clinical environment
