Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate, motivated individual to join our treatment team in delivering services within our residential programs for women. The ideal candidate brings empathy, curiosity, and a desire to make a difference. This is a flexible role with the potential to be part-time or full-time. The primary focus of this position is group facilitation using evidence-based curricula; however, for candidates interested in over 15 hours per week, additional clinical responsibilities may be assigned, including completing biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans. Whether you're an experienced clinician or just starting your journey, we welcome learners, students, and individuals with lived recovery experience. Responsibilities Facilitate clinical group sessions focused on recovery skills, life skills, and emotional regulation using evidence-based approaches Complete timely, clinically sound documentation Participate in weekly clinical team meetings, multidisciplinary case consults, and individual supervision Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support to clients experiencing acute distress or emotional dysregulation Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and motivational interviewing techniques in all client interactions Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, ethical guidelines, and professional boundaries Stay engaged in learning and skill-building through training, supervision, and team collaboration. Requirements Active Maine CADC or LADC credential Experience in substance use counseling, crisis intervention, or group facilitation (preferred but not required) Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate, timely records Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and maintain professional boundaries Comfort working independently while actively participating in a multidisciplinary team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Familiarity with trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, or recovery-based models is a plus Commitment to continued learning, reflective practice, and ethical client care Individuals with lived recovery experience are encouraged to apply Ability to pass a background check Join us in making a difference in the lives of the women we serve through compassionate care, genuine connection, and dedicated support.
