Licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor (LADC) / Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) Miracle Minds Therapy / United Citizens Foundation - Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) Las Vegas / North Las Vegas, Nevada Full-Time or Part-Time | W-2 or 1099 Opportunities Competitive Market-Based Compensation About the Opportunity Miracle Minds Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC) or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our growing substance use disorder treatment team. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) , we serve diverse community mental health populations and provide integrated behavioral health, substance use disorder, care coordination, psychiatric, peer support, and recovery-oriented services. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys the work, understands the importance of meeting clients where they are, and wants to be part of a team committed to building a strong, clinically sound SUD program. Responsibilities The
LADC/CADC
will provide substance use disorder services across multiple levels of outpatient care, including: Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services. Facilitate Outpatient (OP) substance use groups . Provide individual substance use counseling and therapy within scope of practice. Complete and document ASAM assessments and level-of-care recommendations . Demonstrate working knowledge of both ASAM 3rd Edition and ASAM 4th Edition principles. Assess client progress and support appropriate transitions between levels of care. Develop and maintain individualized, person-centered treatment plans. Provide services to clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders (COD) . Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation. Participate in treatment-team meetings, case consultation, care coordination, and discharge/transition planning. Collaborate with mental health clinicians, case managers, peer support professionals, psychiatric providers, and community partners. Follow applicable Nevada
SAPTA/BHCEN
requirements , organizational policies, and regulatory standards governing SUD services. Support a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach to treatment.
Qualifications Required:
Current Nevada LADC or CADC credential , in good standing and appropriate for the services being provided. Currently enrolled and active with Nevada Medicaid as an LADC or CADC provider. Minimum 1 year of substance use disorder treatment experience . Experience providing or supporting IOP programming . Experience facilitating SUD outpatient groups . Experience providing individual SUD services . Familiarity with ASAM criteria, assessments, placement, continued-stay, and transition-of-care decision making . Knowledge of ASAM 3rd Edition , with familiarity or working knowledge of the ASAM 4th Edition . Comfortable treating individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders . Strong clinical documentation and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with community mental health and underserved populations.
