We are looking for a clinician who is collaborative, organized, comfortable working with a diverse client population, and committed to providing high-quality, recovery-oriented care. Experience working with adolescents is a plus. Position Summary The Substance Use Counselor provides individual, group, and family counseling; completes screenings and assessments; develops and supports ongoing treatment planning; and coordinates care with community providers and referral sources. The counselor is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, meeting service expectations, and actively participating as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Essential Duties and Clinical Competencies Provide individual, group, and family substance use counseling based on assessed clinical needs. Conduct admission screenings and assessments for individuals seeking substance use treatment. Participate in case review and multidisciplinary team meetings. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards and

regulations. Maintain expected productivity and units of service. Coordinate and manage toxicology testing in accordance with regulatory and agency standards. Collaborate with referral sources, healthcare providers, community organizations, and other supports involved in client care. Provide outreach, engagement, education, and linkage to community resources as appropriate. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues across programs and disciplines. Demonstrate flexibility, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to proactively identify and address barriers to treatment. Participate in required training and continuing professional development. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field with CASAC or CASAC-T preferred; OR Master's degree/QHP, including LMSW, LMHC, or LCAT; CASAC is optional for QHP candidates. One year of experience in human services, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related field preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with computers and electronic documentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience providing counseling to adolescents is preferred. Spanish-speaking/bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Education:
