Summary:

Penn Medicine's HUP Cedar location is looking for a full-time Addictions Counselor to join the team! The schedule will be four 10s (7am-5pm) Monday-Thursday. The Addictions Counselor is responsible for providing clinical substance use services including, but not limited to individual and group counseling as well as case management services to assigned patient caseload. The Addictions Counselor is responsible for ensuring all clinical care guidelines, standards and regulations are upheld in the delivery of care to patients for which they are assigned according to program, organization, state and federal standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Conducts biopsychosocial assessments and ASAM screenings Facilitates 1-2 group sessions daily Coordinates and arranges after care services Ensures compliance with all documentation standards and standards regarding delivery of care.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (required), Master's Degree (Preferred)

Education Specialization:

Psychology, Social Work, Social/Human Services or related field

Experience:
